  • Ready issue?

I started up my skytrak and the top light will turn red then green. Then back and forth multiple times and never become ready. Not sure what’s going on. Guess it’s time for service.

Turn off your skytrak, delete the app on your ipad. Restart iPad Re-install app. Turn on skytrak.

    That's what I'd do.

It’s on a computer but I can try that.

That is similar to what I saw when I tried to use Swing Guru via a Kinect device. Apparently both use IR and it caused the ST to never stay green for more than a second. Do you have something new that might be throwing different light at your ST?

I did move a couple of posters I have near my setup. But it was working after I moved them.

Yeah, something metal/reflective or some other type of IR would be my guess. Ahhh, maybe that Radar unit? Also, you can try taking it out of the case - is that an official SkyTrak metal case?

I moved Rory and Sergio, but now I can’t get the sky trak to even connect to my computer. It’s usb connected and has always been this way.

Seth, the metal case was purchased from you guys and the radar has been in that same spot for months. The only thing that changed was the posters.

That is puzzling. Have you tried it yet with the SkyTrak unit out of the case?

Have you tried connecting in Direct Mode to rule out a physical connection issue with the USB?

Took the skytrak out of the case. Reset to direct connect mode. And everything seems to be working again. I do have the posters moved. I did reinstall the skytrak into the case. Usb mode still seems to be an issue though. The computer recognizes that something is plugged in but doesn’t link. Have even deleted the program and reinstalled to see if that would make a difference. None yet.

USB ports can go bad. USB cables can go bad. Try switching out both.
