  • Club head data on 3.3.x ?

    Hi all

New ST user. I’ve setup a truestrike mat, ST, net etc in the garage and am loving it. Played a round on TGC 2019 and at some point will look into a dedicated outbuilding

Huge thanks to everyone on the forum for contributions as I’ve made a lot of purchasing decisions based on input and previous questions

Only thing I haven’t found... is it possible to get the beta club head data download for v 3.3.x of Skytrak app?

I see that TGC shows guesstimated club head data but it doesn’t provide as much analysis as what ST does

Also a big thanks to Seth for having a presence on the forum

Here's the link to the old club data beta: http://downloads.skygolf.com/Softwar...ytrakSetup.exe

We're still working on the algorithms and I will update the beta release hopefully toward the end of summer.

SkyTrak_Seth for those of us who live on the other side of the world, when does the end of summer happen over there? 2, 3 months? will this update also include the new bag map feature we saw at the PGA show?

Are we able to install this beta side by side with the current live version of skytrak, or does it overwrite it?

SkyTrak_Seth Is there a difference between this one and 3.3.2? I have not heard of club data with SkyTrak but was hoping for SkyTrak and R-Motion to be integrated for use on the ST range with both.

Did 3.3 club data beta ever get released? I love the new features on 3.3 and would like not to revert back to 3.1 as it does when I use it.

So I saw that one of the users created an analytics tool which had the club data so I went exploring.

Im using PC version of app and the club data is still being calculated in 3.3 and being stored in your shot database. However the app doesn’t have the functionality to see it (or export it). You can open the actual database file and manually export it to Excel but clearly that’s not super useful while hitting balls.

So if you really want the data you can go get it but I found that far after the shot it was pretty meaningless to me.

I bought an r-motion and was hoping there would be integration with the range application by now but given updates have stalled I’m guessing this is a long way out.

I'm not entirely sure we're even waiting for the R-Motion integration anymore. We've heard nothing about it at all. I think we're just going to get the algorithm tbh.

I bought R-motion at the early part of radio silence on updates hoping there would be an integration in the range shortly.

I’m definitely feeling it wasn’t a good use of money as there is no TGC 2019 integration nor Skytrak app integration so the little I use R-motion I run the app on my phone which is annoying and the app doesn’t update super well for me from shot to shot.

Largely feeling like I wasted the money at this point. I’m now waiting for whoever gets ball and club data on one device that’s reasonably accurate, portable and at about a $5k price point. Would have seemed crazy a few years ago but I think we may see it in the next few years (no inside knowledge just feels like we’re getting close to putting it all together at a more affordable price than $15k).

Uneekor does all that for like 6,000 iirc. But that's 4x the price of SkyTrak so I hope you understand they're very different price points. You shouldn't have bought a SkyTrak if you were expecting club data.
