Should I get the Skytrak or wait?

About 2 seconds delay here. For me it was put up with the shot delay or not have a golf simulator, I couldn't afford any other option at the time. I don't even notice it now it's not a problem for me at all.
I agree with what calebm1001 said though, going back from no delay to a delay would I think be a different story. I would buy a secondhand GC2 in a heartbeat if I could, so I guess I am willing to pay about 4-4.5K for no delay.

I was in the same boat. ST or nothing. I thought the delay would be be a big annoyance, but honestly, for game improvement purposes, I am almost totally indifferent. You swing, and by the time you look over the ball flies. Gives you a second to hold your finish and evaluate contact, as well as reducing the urge to rake and hit.

I did have a rough start. I didn't have an ipad, so I used a brand new android tablet that my cable provider included for signing up. It was octacore, and I figured it would up to the task. I had 15+ second delays, and was about to toss the ST out the window. Incredibly painful. Eventually, my troubleshooting brought me to borrow an ipad, and the problem was solved.

I believe most who are in financial position to pick up GC2 would do so. If you are on the fence, the delay may be a deciding factor. I think the vast majority who go ST will learn to live with it.

Loaded question but if I was going run a 10 man golf league what software should I run? What is Protee Golf with Skytrak? What is the most affordable combination for one year?
