Connecting sequence

So, I’ve only had my SkyTrak for two weeks. Although, I love it. My only complaint is sometimes I have trouble connecting my SkyTrak to my laptop at startup.
My question is: What is the proper sequence to turning on / connecting devices? ie: turn laptop on, connect to internet, turn SkyTrak on...

It doesn't matter what sequence you use.

I don't think it matters, but my process is:
boot laptop & connect to internet,
Plug usb into skytrak,
Open skytrak app,
Turn on skytrak.
Takes about 5-10 seconds to find the skytrak and away I go.

I’ve never had issues with any order. Maybe 5 times in 2 years has it been weird checking the license and I assumed it was a service side thing.

I use USB now and I recall reading if you power on SkyTrak before app is open then it defaults to Wifi instead of USB so for that reason I open app before turning on SkyTrak.

It really doesn't matter what sequence I turn on my Skytrak. The unit always connects. I'm using a USB connection.
