    Complete miss-read?

I've had a couple shots completely misread by my Skytrak lately while playing the ProTee tournaments, which is extremely annoying because you can't rewind any shot. Anyways, anyone else ever hit one straight and then have the Skytrak shoot it essentially completely sideways, left and/or right? This has happened only when I'm using Truvis balls so this may be the issue?

I'm of the opinion that Truvis balls can confuse SkyTrak's software algorithm which looks for spin markers, since all the pentagrams on the ball look identical. I know they usually work fine, but in my experience a regular white ball with a nice distinct Titleist or Taylormade or whatever logo towards the camera leads to the best reads. (Not to mention the Truvis colors rub off on an impact screen.)

Just to add some more info, the shot recording data gave me a HLA of 16.8deg.. ouch!

I've tried several and as I posted in another thread regarding SkyTrak reading but TGC not, I have been having better luck with the Wilson Duo matte orange ball. It feels pretty nice too which is a plus. I typically play a TP5x or ProV1x but neither read as well as the matte finish balls.
