E6 Connect Wind & Elevation

I cannot change Wind Speed or Elevation on any play mode (Course or Range) Its frustrating to have a 10 mph wind in your face on the range. The settings are grayed out for me, anyone else have this issue?

Answer from E6 support from today:

"This setting will not be available for any 3rd party tracking devices. It is a setting for TruGolf tracking systems, as other process shot data in different ways, and should already account for this."

What is that supposed to mean. Does that mean the wind isn’t factored into account do we know. I remember for standard e6 the boost function wasn’t working with skytrak. I must say I’ve been playing around on the demo and apart from
the putting i think it is pretty good.

That's nonsense. They're SO CLOSE to having a viable TGC2019 alternative here, but not being able to change wind/elevation, and not being able to set putting to straight are going to be deal-killers for many SkyTrak owners.

It sounds like you may be able to adjust the settings prior to entering a round. Someone probably need to confirm if this can be done.

I am a Skytrak owner. Not having an adjustment to reflect realistic yardage is disappointing. Will this change in the future?

Not sure about e6 connect, but in e6 1.6 you would default to course elevation, but there was also a setting to set the elevation and use that. I agree it is frustrating as it is always best to play the distances that you know and not keep having to figure out the course elevation and then adjust your distances for the course that you choose to play.
