Any word from the PGA show about Skytrak update or even new product?

Golf Digest was at Demo Day. I am not sure if they are holding back any new products until later in the show, but they just had the regular Skytrak with nothing new. There were more details about MEVO+. From the sounds of it, Mevo+ will have full ball data, but will not connect to a full sim, but rather some type of phone app sim.

Cory from par2pro just posted his mevo+ video 50 minutes ago, and then Ernest 25 minutes ago. Odds are that he will post his ST visit shortly.

This should be interesting... Did you guys see the quick video on the FlightScope Mevo+? That looks really nice.

Watched Cory's video. Doesn't sound like anything new other than E6 connect integration and the swing camera.

There's a comment on Cory's video where he says he asked the obvious questions but they did not want the answers filmed. "They're working on it but can't promise a release date". Super lame given the timeframe.

Thats my comment. Lol... Garage Golf also filmed a video prior and after meeting with SkyTrak... I like what they did. Instead of showing a video of the features, they went behind the booth and basically told everyone that they are frustrated wtih SkyTrak and that they didnt want to be on video addressing the software upgrades. Which tells me a lot. If you believe in your company, your people, your tech, you should address issues in product enhancements and launches, not try to cover it up with, "It was a great year and we have all these partners... blah, blah..." I mean come on its obvious that they hamstrung @SkyTrakSeth so he couldnt give any kind of real answer. (My money is on that Andy guy... Doesn't have a trustworthy face....lol)
But yeah, I feel like people here and on the other boards would be a little bit more understanding with ST if they came out and said, hey we're sorry, we can't deliver on time, and here are the reasons (No way its just GDPR).
I actually am a little worried about one thing now... They showed 3.4 and 4.0 working last year on a ST unit, but did anyone check to see that it was not a prototype unit with upgraded components? Because My fear is that the software upgrade works just fine, but the current units don't have the raw processing power to run it. If that's the case, the ST just became an antiquated unit with tech that can only be used for its sim integration purposes. If that is the case, I'm moving on.

These are all good points/concerns. If it was not a prototype (and I don't know why it would be), why would software working fine not be released within 365 days? GDPR cannot be the cause. And whatever caused the delay it, why cannot it not be publicly revealed? There are not many categories of causes. It could be for reasons of embarrassment (not wanting to reveal incompetence), for reasons of competitiveness (not wanting to reveal hardware/software information to competition) or a legal/licensing issue (for example, ball flight model not properly licensed etc).
My device works as advertised, and I am currently not on game improvement plan. I am more concerned with reasons for the delay, rather than the delay itself.

The whole thing is bizarre. I'm with you Morini, my concern is the reason for the delay. I'm also concerned with the "we'll address the update questions off camera" tactic.
