  • Questions re selling SkyTrak/TGC

I’m not sure if folks that have sold still keep an eye on this sub forum but it seemed more appropriate to ask here.

I’m about to list my SkyTrak for sale and have some questions:

    1. Is there any transfer fees with SkyGolf or is that free? My annual fee will be due pretty quickly after the transaction so limited value for buyer there but I couldn’t find anything in the search if there were transfer fees for the unit.

    2. I believe I’ve found the TGC transfer fee is $235 and I’m assuming this has to be paid even if it goes with the unit. I bought the lifetime license through SkyGolf if that matters. I’d consider keeping it if I knew I’d be able to use it with the Mevo+ I’ve ordered but that seems vague right now and I’d guess selling a standalone TGC license in a month if I can’t use it has pretty low value. Happy to be corrected on any of this.

    Thanks

I know that when I went from Skytrak to Uneekor, the transfer fee for TGC2019 was $95.00. ProTee did it the same day I sent the request. If they charge $235.00 to transfer from one owner to another, I would think that would be a bargain for the new owner.

Thanks but I think the fee is higher for me to transfer to another person based on what I saw in other posts for TGC. There is currently no way for me to transfer to Mevo+ and with no eta I don’t want to get stuck with a license I can’t use.

Sounds like you didn’t have to give SkyGolf anything though.

I must be confused. The TGC license is independent of your Skytrak license. They are two companies that cooperate with one another. I know that MEVO+ works with E6 connect. Are they not going to partner with TGC? That would be unfortunate.

My point was if the person you are selling your skytrak to doesn't already have TGC, they would be happy to pay the 235 vs the 900 they would have to pay to buy it on their own.

What are you going to be selling it for?/ Where?
