Is my skytrak faulty

So my skytrak which I’ve had now for a couple of weeks works fine for me but my son hits the ball lower he plays off 1 and we can’t get the skytrak to read hardly any shots I’ve read all about shoes balls logo facing machine not much light etc . But I probably get 3/4 out of 100 and he will get 60 out of 100 with no readings which is really frustrating
what could the problem be ??

Make sure the bottom of the ST unit is same height as mat; zero out tilt and roll in the Level feature in the app; clean the exterior plastic lens; always place logo of ball towards camera.

Thanks for that just checked it seems he’s adjusted the legs that high to get it level I’ve dropped them and it’s picking his shots up now . He messed with it and I didn’t know till you said check height
