    Moving on to a Skytrak

Finally pulled the trigger on a Skytrak. Ordered the Certified pre-owned. Ordered the metal case on ebay. Anxiously awaiting it now. I started out with an Optishot. I then moved on to Rmotion (which I liked). Now on to Skytrak.

BTW, how long does it typically take to ship? I ordered on Sunday and it hasn't shipped yet.

Congratulations! So glad to hear. Usually orders ship within 1-3 business days. If you haven't received tracking by tomorrow, please let me know.

Congrats, I’ve had my SkyTrak for almost 3 months. I love it. My only wish is that you could have multi player randomizer on closest to the pin

Thanks all. Just received my skytrak. Never got a shipping number and still says it hasn’t shipped on my Skytrak account? Anyway it’s here. Very excited. Screen is a bit smudged. What does everyone use to clean it?

After you pull off the thin plastic film with the tab, it should be clean underneath. If it's not, use a clean, soft cloth (microfiber best) and a little spit or few drops of water on the cloth to gently remove the smudges.

Thanks, I used a cloth I have for my glasses and worked fine.

Got the Skytrak set up and hit about 50 balls. Setup was much simpler than expected and its working great. It missed a few wedge shots initiybut I didn’t have it level with my hitting mat. Once I leveled it, it never missed a shot.

Did you get the “knock off” metal case on eBay? If so, how’s it working out?

I do not recommend it. I got the knock off one and regret it. Nothing covering the top of it and only one hole drilled for securing the Skytrak to the case. Also the legs don't have a base on them like the real thing. Just a bolt. They supplied one screw to secure it to the Skytrak and it's not even the right size. If I was going to do it over again I would spend the extra money and get the real thing.

I got the knockoff and it’s been OK. Mine did have two holes drilled to secure but only one bolt. The bolt screws in fine but it does stick out the bottom a bit. Nothing covering the top so I put a piece of wood on top. I haven’t had any misreads and it seems to fit straight in the case. With a 5% discount and shipping it cost right around $100. I don’t regret the purchase and would probably do it again to save the $50. I certainly can understand 3on3putt’s point of view though.
