  • SkyTrak and VMWare Fusion, not detecting SkyTrak

    Hello,
I am trying to use my SkyTrak driving range on VMWare fusion running on my MacBook Pro. I have created a win 10 pro VM, installed the software, connected to the SkyTrak wifi and bridged the networking.
However the software will not detect the SkyTrak, the SkyTrak has 1 green and 2 red lights which I believe means it's ready to be detected.
The software itself though doesn't ever say its looking for the SkyTrak. I can run my iPad and iPhone and it says that it is looking for the SkyTrak, the PC software never appears to try and search.
I'm using the latest version of software, as soon as I mentioned Mac SkyTrak support weren't interested.
I'm hoping once I get this working to by TGC.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks in advance.

Not sure of the exact process but It seems that you must use bootcamp not VM to get it to work. Search around this question has come up a number of times in the last 6-8 months.

All the threads i'm reading are people saying they got it working using Fusion and bootcamp not required.

Hey John.....any luck in getting this to work? I just bought a skytrak system and was planning on running TGC 2019 in a windows vm in Fusion.

I am working with a MacBook Pro that has an Intel iris 645 graphics card. Does anyone know what in Nvidia specs that is equal to? Is that good enough?

The Intel Iris 645 is around 6X slower than the minimum recommended gpu for TGC 2019 and E6 Connect, the GTX 1060, so no, your MBP won't run those programs in any acceptable level of quality. See the exact comparison here:
