I setup outside and can't guarantee ST to be on the same level as the ball. What is the impact if ST is slightly higher or slightly lower...say up to 3 or 4mm each way.
After writing that I got to thinking... if you're hitting off of a tee, how does ST know how high you've set your tee. Makes me wonder if height is all that critical as long as the ball stays in the frame?
As stated above, base of skytrak same height as the matt. Don’t worry about the tee height. I personally place tee behind red dot about an inch for best results
If you get reads, you are fine. It will not affect accuracy as long as unit is level and aligned. If the sensors see the ball, you should get an accurate read. A few mm should not make a difference. It all depends on your trajectories. You can also fool around with ball position.
It is not a bad idea to have the unit level, but if it is easier to be a little high or low, and it still reads, all good.
