SkyTrak v TGC 2019 Driving Distances

I am seeing disparities in driving distance, when on the range, between SkyTrak & TGC 2019. The figures seem pretty close for all other clubs. When I compare with PRGR, the data is very close to TGC 2019, rather than SkyTrak. I have an optimism bias as SkyTrak figures are lower.

Has anyone else noticed the same?

My understanding is that range on TGC 2019 is slightly downhill so that could potentially account for the difference. Are you seeing the same data other than total distance?

I haven't really used the SkyTrak software that much since I got TGC 2019 but do feel that I probably get more bounce and roll in TGC than on ST although carry distances seem to be accurate.

Thanks for the response. SkyTrak tends to be accurate but seems odd with the driver compared to other things. I have since found an article online which says the same.

We tested the new 2021 PRGR launch monitor. Find out how the upgraded HS-130A performed in our in-depth review.

I saw a comparison with PRGR to Mevo+ where the distance was a little higher, so maybe it has trouble with indoor readings

The image processing engine changes that were included in last ST update have not year trickled into TGC2019. Other than that, they work off identical ball data, so the only cause would be slight differences in ball flight model.

I assume that you are talking about carry, as discussing roll out with driver is meaningless anyways since local conditions vary considerably.
