Inaccuracies with E6 connect with SkyTrak

I have a new build with SkyTrak using E6 connect software. On the SkyTrak game improvement software, all my clubs register accurate distances. When using the E6 software my GW through 6i are accurate. 5i - Driver loosing 10-20 yards depending on club. Any suggestions out there?

If you use skytrak, E6 gets the exact yardage sent to it including carry directly from skytrak. So E6 has nothing to do with it, they just show the shot on the software

Thanks Jwheels. Now I’m even more stumped then.

E6 gets sent the ball data from Skytrak. It then uses the Skytrak ball flight model to render ball flight. Finally, as the ball intersects the ground, the E6 roll out model takes over from there. This is different from TGC2019 which uses its own ball flight model. Also, note that E6 has likely not updated to the latest Skytrak image engine, so it will not have the high ball speed fix (150+mph).

If you are talking carry, there is should be no difference unless caused by elevation and/or wind. For roll out, that is obviously depending on course geometry and course conditions.

Thanks Moroni, it’s the carry that is inaccurate. Only getting 180 ish on driver and typical is around 210-220

Very strange. Does E6 report ball data? If so, compare them to ST range to see which metrics are off. Somebody else had similar issue maybe 3 months ago. That is where I learned that E6 uses ST ball flight model. Your ball speeds aren't fast enough to be affected by the high ball speed issue.

I find the numbers on E6 range to be spot on with SkyTrak range for carry distances. Roll out is maybe 10-15 yards more on SkyTrak. A couple of thoughts that may cause you to experience differences.

              1) Are you set to sea level on SkyTrak range? E6 doesn’t have elevation settings to change to mirror where you live.

              2) If you are seeing these issues on course on E6 is is possible the hole/shot elevation is affecting distance. Some of the 50-60ft uphill tee shots definitely can cause a 20 yard distance loss off normal drives.
