Creative Golf 3D -No Keyboard Shortcuts? (Besides left/right)

Well I bought everything I need to make a Golf Control Box so that I don't need to go back to the computer as often, but it appears the only buttons that would do me any good in Creative Golf 3D is left and right for aim? I will probably still go ahead and make it to use with TGC 2019 but I guess I was surprised when I actually looked into the game to find that I was basically required to use a mouse. I have an Air Mouse controller that works just fine but it's not natural for me to carry something like that while golfing so it's still an "inconvenience" while playing to go and grab it over just being able to hit a button with my club right next to the hitting area. I wonder if this is something that Creative Golf 3D may hopefully try to incorporate into future updates or am I just completely missing it?

Sounds like you are already committed to a control box. In any case, check out airkeyboard if you have ipad or iphone. I paid the $3 so I could use pre-built templates. There is already one made for TGC2019 which looks and works great. I can even move the mouse around to check yardages to bunkers etc if needed. Not sure if there is an existing template made for Creative, but you could always create one.

Yeah I mean wireless isn't an issue.. i have a wireless Logitech keyboard/touchpad that I guess I could just put on a stand right next to the hitting area.. maybe I'll mount the stand to the control box and I can have both options available to me..

Use something like Xpadder. it can map controller buttons to act as mouse and keyboard functions

That's fair... nothing compares to being able to tap a single button with your club to just do whatever action.. but i did create an arcade setup with a ball for golden tee and it made me think that an old ball mouse like that or even just that controller would work pretty well for the simulator. You can't use a touch pad with a golf glove on but you can use a ball mouse like that... 🤔

Nice.. I made this with an ebay "zero delay" board and button kit... needs a bigger box though as I'm limited to the but end of the grip for button pushes.

That's not too bad.. I have a high swing speed and until I can afford a uneekor or similar, i actually downgraded to Optishot just because it's quick and easy to "play" on and i don't have to fret about accuracy and i can make a button controller for mulligans and everything to make play quicker.. i just want an excuse to hit balls into my bay and I got tired of trying to make sure everything was set up and the Skytrak was lined up correctly and that it would read my ball.. it just became too much work.. I'm reading similar types of issues with Mevo and so I'm just holding out until I can justify paying for a uneekor or if something else comes along that is just as easy if that makes sense.. 🤷♂️
