You should be just fine with that.

The GTX 1650 gpu is 40% slower than the minimum recommended spec (GTX 1060). See https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compar...6GB/4039vs3639

I have this and it runs flawlessly, no hiccups at all and very smooth. I would be interested to see how much better it would run with the GTX 1060, personally I don't see how it could be any better.

That's good feedback. Some folks are particular about their framerates... guessing yours is a little lower than it would be with the 1060. When framerate gets low, the movement of the ball, trees, and camera pans in the game get a little choppy/stuttery. You can check framerate (fps) using the Game Bar that comes with Windows 10. You may also not be able to max-out the graphics settings in TGC like you can with the 1060.

I also have the GTX-1650 4GB and tgc19 runs fine. Though I have it on the machine that runs the Steam tgc19 version (the video game), not the one that runs the simulator. I've been working on RCR's on the Steam version, and the computer graphics run without a glitch (camera zooming, rotating, panning, etc).

Just going by the numbers, when I bought the GTX-1650 I thought it was about 50% better than the 1060, LOL, :-). It shows I didn't do my homework properly :-)! I'm actually finishing another PC build and I got the GTX-1660 for that one. Steam tgc19 also runs fine on that one. Sidebar: pretty impressive computer graphics for not much money, IMO (would have cost hundreds of thousands 30 years ago when I was studying computer graphics in college).

It's a common misperception that the bigger the Nvidia GTX number, the faster it is. Actually, the gpus are classed into performance categories by the last two digits: 50, 60, 70, and 80 (in order of speed), and the generation is the first two digits (10 or 16). So a GTX 1060 is faster than a GTX 1650. The new RTX 20-series (60, 70, and 80) start to show some overlap, where a 60 can be faster than a 1070 or 1080.
