    Skytrak Putting Help Please!!

    Hello all,

I have had my skytrak paired with TGC 2019 for about 2 years now and have thoroughly enjoyed it.... up until now. I have always had intermittent putting read trouble but now with the new update to 3.4.2, it is almost unbearable. Here is my set up and things that i have tried after digging through all of the forums.

    - Skytrak with FMJ. version 3.4.2 64 bit on windows 10 PC
    - Fiberbuilt mat
    - TGC 2019
    - TM spider x putter
    - i have used brand white balls with logo facing monitor, chrome soft truvis, tp5 pix, and markered balls.
    - i have a clean skytrak lens and set at a perfectly even level to the mat
    - i have tried placing the ball everywhere within a 2" circle around the red dot
    - i have tried usb mode and network modes
    - i have tried setting up a dedicated wifi extender for only the computer and launch monitor in network mode
    - i have tried a brand new hi speed micro usb cord in usb mode
    - i have tried a warm yellow spot light above the ball area to provide ample ambient light
    - issues seem consistent whether it is daytime or night.

Everything with the monitor reads well with the exception of putts that are less than about 15'. Outside of that range with a bit more umph, it typically reads. The problem is only with short, lightly hit putts that i must play with in order to play in the protee united societies. Like i mentioned about, i feel that the issue has been amplified with the recent skytrak software update from my perspective. It is so bad right now that it is often taking me 20 attempts to hit a 10 ft putt that i almost want to quit the societies and give up on putting on the simulator altogether.

I am hoping that someone out there has found some trick or fix that can save putting on my skytrak for me! Please advise and thank you for your help!

Try placing the ball 3-4 inches behind the red dot, and make sure you have no bright or reflective objects in view of the camera.

Nothing in the software update or connection mode should affect putting reads.
