  • Skytrak Shipping Delays

    The Flightscope forum has a thread for shipping delays on the Mevo+, so I figured it would make sense to have one for those of us waiting on a Skytrak.

    It would be nice if some people who recently received theirs would chime in and state their ordered and received dates etc.


    The official Canadian distributor has pushed the date of the next shipment a few times in the last 2 weeks. It used to be Sept 15th, then Sept 25th, Sept 30th, now pushed back to Oct 15th.


    My build is almost finished and I am eager to try it. I'm thinking of grabbing an R Motion to just test my setup, and since it has some kind of integration with Skytrak, it wouldn't be a net loss once I receive my unit.

    Ordered (not direct) on 9/22 and have not received any notice yet....hoping for news based on these updates.

      Several people in the Facebook groups have reported shipping notifications on orders as late as October 8th. Mine is October 11th and I hope it ships soon.

        Yep I order October 7th direct. Got shipping notice this afternoon. Expected Friday.

            What the hell is going on? I ordered mine on 9/16 and I'm still waiting on mine. I imagine SkyTrak is fulfilling their orders first than the people that have ordered via third party. If this is how they want to do business then I'm going to cancel my order and just get the Mevo +..

              I contacted Top Shelf golf this morning and they had nothing to give me. Other than that it will ship at the 10-12 week window. They had no specific explanation as to why direct orders were being fulfilled first. Seth over at SkyTrak responds to these threads at times. Hopefully he'll be able to illuminate this, "First come, first serve" discrepancy. It's frustrating that order placed in October are being fulfilled before order in Aug/Sep.

            Agreed jefe . It has to be damaging their channel partners to some degree. I ordered through one and am seeing those that went direct bypassing me for delivery. I am still within the delivery window stated originally, but as you indicate there appears to be a preference for direct orders.

              Exactly and it is pissing me off. What company does this? They already have my money too so I don't get it.

            As I had said before, I ordered mine from GungHoGolf and received it early. At the same time, I ordered a Mevo+ from him. It seems as if I will receive that tomorrow (also WAY ahead of schedule). My intention is to make a decision on which I prefer and go that route. Based on the choices I had to make regarding my setup, I anticipate going with the Mevo+. My SkyTrak was received last month, has been used twice (I travel extensively), has the metal enclosure and the GIP for a year left. If anyone is interested, I'll take offers via PM. To be clear, haven't made the decision yet, but strongly leaning that way. Should know in a week or so. I live in CT so northeast players can come pick up or I'll ship.

              Any reason why you don't like the Skytrak? Looking at mevo, I need a lot more space. That was my big concern.

              Mostly comes down to portability and quickness to set up. I will be constantly moving between locations and time to setup will be important. As I said, I've used the SkyTrak twice so far, and was very impressed with it. In fact, certain areas will most likely be better (putting, driving range, etc). But the second session was so good because I took the time to align the unit perfectly. It's a phenomenal piece of equipment, who knows, maybe it will completely outshine the Mevo and I will sell the Mevo. I'll know in a week or so. Mevo comes tomorrow.

            I ordered through supplier in Canada on Oct 10th - just received shipping notice as well.

              I ordered Oct 11th and received the "Welcome to Skytrak" email, but no shipping notification. Should that be coming soon?

                Yes, that email comes a day or two before they ship, at which time you'll get a shipping notification with tracking. Sure wish they'd say that on the first email... if I had a nickel for every time someone asks...

                  shipping notification came today as well. It’ll be here on Thursday.

                    I hate to rant on my first post here, but I was spitting nails when I read this yesterday. Its probably a good thing my account here wasn't opened up until this morning! I ordered mine from Top Shelf on 9/2. I'm just about at 11 weeks with no updates or Skytrak in hand. When I read that others here have ordered it directly from Skytrak well over a month after I did and are getting the welcome and tracking emails, that was it for me. I cancelled my Skytrak order and put an order in for a QED last night.

                    I was fine with the fact that it was taking the expected amount of time (thus far) to get the Skytrak, but I figured that everyone that had ordered one was in the same queue and waiting the same amount of time. Kudo's to GungHoGolf on being able to get them seemingly quick, as well (love your site and articles, btw!). I ordered it on 9/2 knowing that it should take 10-12 weeks because I hadn't even started my build out yet on the sim area. It gave me plenty of time to make sure I didn't half-arse anything on the build. Now the room is ready and - no offense to those who love their Skytrak (I wanted to!) - there will never be one in my sim.

                    Ok, rant over On to the introductions area of the site. I've been lurking areas of this forum during my build out and feel like I owe some thanks to many of the folks here.

                      I wish I could afford the QED myself. I'm in the same boat.... about say f#&k you too Skytrak! Hope you guys are reading this as well because I hope you guys lose customers over this. This is not cool... it's not how you do business.

                    Just out of curiosity, can anyone either confirm or deny that Flightscope is also prioritizing their direct customers ahead of their third-party vendors for Mevo+ orders?

                      I would deny. I bought mine from GungHoGolf (I know, beginning to sound like a broken record), and received the Mevo+ month ahead of schedule. I was absolutely shocked. So far, I've bought a SkyTrak (also ahead of schedule), a Mevo+, a Fiberbuilt mat, and an impact screen. Everything has arrived early with the exception of the impact screen which arrived exactly on time. I've been nothing but impressed with all my interactions with Ron. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

                    FlightScope uses a single-queue system for direct orders and dealer orders.

                      Well, as fate would have it....Top Shelf emailed me this morning asking if I was sure I wanted to cancel. As I'm writing my reply, I get an email that it's shipping and I have a tracking number. I think I'm going to end up keeping the QED - if so, I'll have a brand new Skytrak, aftermarket FMJ and laser alignment tool posted for sale soon.

                        If you keep it, you should easily be able to get all your money back and then some in an aftermarket sale. Especially since it's brand new.

                        Agreed...and I'll probably post it in this forum first. I'd like to see someone here have a chance at an early Christmas Just got my tracking from Uneekor...ordered it last night, paid the extra $30 for expedited shipping and it's due for delivery tomorrow!
