Skytrak gets stuck after shot while zoomed in on TGC 2019

Hi Everyone,

I had a look around to see if I could find a similar topic, but didn't know how to describe it for the search to get a hit...

Basically, on TGC 2019 sometimes I forget to get out of the zoom (Q button) and take my shot, only to have the top light get stuck red, and doesn't turn back to green. I don't really see why this would happen as logically you are only in a different view. But then i need to exit and establish a new connection and get back into the game. This is a pain for something as trivial as taking a shot while viewing the target area. Is this a know issue with the software?

I know the solution is simple, i just need to not forget to get out of zoom, but wanted to see if others face this and if they have work arounds to avoid the skytrak from getting stuck.

For reference, I hit into a net return, so once i leave the laptop i don't really see the screen, which is probably why this happens to me often.

I also experienced this a couple times when I first started playing. Same thing --- just had to exit the round and then start it again and it took me back to the same spot on the course so luckily I didn't lose any progress. I don't know if there's anything you can do except try to remember to exit out of the zoom function before hitting. I learned the hard way lol.

This happens to me occasionally as well. The way to get out of this without restarting the round is to hit M on your keyboard and choose to replay your last shot. Once it starts the replay, you chan just hit exit anytime and then it will take you back to your ball ready to hit again.

I've noticed this, but there's also occasions where hitting water twice on the same hole stops you from being able to place the ball when taking a drop.

Unsure if it's possible to get out of this one in the se way because of limited menu items when taking a drop. Gets frustrating when there's a few people in a round and the only way through it is exiting/reatrating/skipping to the relevant hole.

You don't need to exit and restart. Changing clubs a few times might do the trick, but no always. But the sure way is to minimize TGC (back to desktop) and open the TGC console in your system tray (bottom right of your screen)and reconnect. Same thing if skytrak disconnects for whatever reason.

Hmm. I have never seen this happen although I am sure I must have hit it in the water on two consecutive shots before, haha. Will see if I can test that out sometime.

This problem happend EVERYTIME I play with scout camera (Q) on .. And this happen on the 3 skytrak I have in my facility :-(

Dont quit or restart round, just reconnect through TGC Interface. Will try the "M" trick thanks for sharing.
