I guess I’m not following your thought process on this. If what you say is true, then why do other launch monitors still have a faster response than Skytrak when using the same Apple/Android/PC? I’m not complaining since my PC’s response is fine, and I do agree that a small delay would help those with the knee jerk response of lifting their head to see where their ball is going.

I'm guessing he means that the delay will be smaller with newer and better devices, but that's not to say it will make the delay disappear entirely. I think about 2 seconds is the best anyone can hope for even with the most powerful computer.

It all has to do with the image processing engine in the underlying SDK. Different products crunch the numbers in different ways. Also, some other launch monitors do their processing onboard, which adds a significant cost.

As far as total spin re 2024, I have a ticket in place for that we can address in a follow-up release. It's a limitation between the hardware and software that we can fix fairly quickly.

If you're having issues with iOS, why don't you just release the update for android/pc? It's not our fault that people want to buy silly apple products.

Sorry if this has been covered in a different thread, but did the 2024 spin thing get fixed with the latest update?

(I tried updating but it was giving me problems so I gave up and have continued to use the previous version. If the 2024 spin issue has been fixed then I would definitely like to update. I get soooooooo many 2024 spin readings.)

Well that's disappointing considering he said almost 6 months ago that it could be fixed "fairly quickly" lol.
Working...
