2.2 MHz Processor is why Skytrak Disconnects?

I bought a pretty serious Asus gaming laptop, with apparently everything but enough MHz... My Skytrak disconnects all the time regardless of what mode I am in with a wireless signal over 30Mps.

I call support and they tell me this is because my computer needs to have at least 2.8 MHz processor...

I just bought this $900 Computer for this, and before I try and return and buy another, I wonder if anyone can verify this...?

Provide the full specs of your laptop. You meant ghz not mhz. Most modern PC CPU's are measured in ghz.

Your PC is way more than capable. The requirements for skytrak are:

        Windows 7, 8, or 10
Intel Core 2 Duo @ 2.0GHz or higher
        2GB RAM or higher
        (https://www.skytrakgolf.com/support/system-requirements)

One could argue your specs are overkill for Skytrak. Frankly, my crappy Android laptop was able to run this and it's nowhere near a i7 2.2Ghz processor with 8GB of RAM. The disconnects have nothing to do with your cpu speed in this case. I resorted to just using USB to connect against a standard laptop (MS Surface Laptop 2). Good luck with the fix

Highly unlikely. Skytrak range is not demanding at all. Connect a different way and see if it makes a difference. If you use network mode, try direct and USB and so on.

Try connecting directly via USB. Also, where is your sim room close to your wifi router or far away like a garage?
