    Alignment qu to unconfuse myself!

I may have overthought this and confused myself...

If I have an alignment stick in front of my SkyTrak, and another alignment stick parallel to this where the ball is the distance between the 2 sticks is approx 30 cm. If I look at where the alignment stick in front of the SkyTrak is pointing, at say 100 or 150 yards away, assuming a straight shot, will the ball land 30 cm away from this point?

Maybe I've misunderstood your question, but if the ball flies straight to your target, the skytrak will read it as right on target and won't account for the distance between the ball and the machine.

The "straight line" is from the red dot, not the machine itself.

Yes, in theory a perfectly straight shot will land 30 cm from this line for any distance.
