Staying level with Fiber built 7x4 mat and the ST Case. How??

I've been using a piece of wood that perfectly aligns the height of my ST without the metal case to my current hitting mat (Flight deck). I havent been using the metal ST case because I'm more or less confident I wont hit it however I've upgraded my build such that I will start having others over to play more.

Long story short, I bought the 7X4 Fiber built studio mat which as the 2' extension for launch monitors. My experience/reading on ST all leads to "stay level at all costs" for most consistent reads. Placing the ST unit on the 2' bump of this mat without the case keeps it perfectly level, but what about with the case?? Even keeping the case feet at the lowest setting will have it slightly higher.....?Help me understand how this isnt discussed more? I've looked through pages of posts on both of these products and never see this brought up!

It’s not discussed because you can simply take off the feet?

Yes, you can take the screws all the way out (or all the way up). Then the bottom of the case just rests right on the surface that you put it on.

kirkemg --- if the unit is showing any tilt or roll without the case being used, then I would think something would have to be going on with your mat or floor. Because with no case, how could the Skytrak not be sitting perfectly level?

Did you end up putting it back in the case? If so, just put the screws back in and adjust as needed.

3on3putt probably because my garage floor isn't perfectly level. It would be very hard to adjust he 7X4 FB Mat to micro adjust the ST tilt/roll. The mat is huge and heavy.....

If it put the screws back in the ST will no longer be level with the hitting area and will sit above it by however tall the screws are....

kirkemg --- Yeah I see what you mean. I guess my only advice is to put the Skytrak on a different surface. I believe Skytrak's official stance on the matter is to not have it on the same surface as the one you are hitting on.

I have the original plastic case, so not my area of expertise, but my understanding is that people put the screws in upside down, which makes it lower, and still allows for adjustment.
