Usually when I see guys hit bombs, they are usually quite a bit more muscular than me. No matter how much I try to perfect my form, and no matter how hard I try, I have to realize I will never smash balls like that! I'm 6'3 and I've been told I hit the ball far at my club. They are usually like " oh you're tall, that's why you do it." Far to them is 250-270 carry. But, I also see guys that are short, stocky smash 50 yards further than me.

Obviously if you can get it out there further, consistenly and accurately it works to your favor though.

My son just crossed 130 pounds and is inching past 160 ball speed and 270 yard carries. Embarrassing to be outdriven by somebody 4 inches shorter and 100 pounds lighter than me. Distance comes down to technical, physical and neurological. Superspeed hits the latter and will very quickly add 3-5 mph ball speed to just about anyone. But for true gains, all three. Even a moderate effort will have results.

My sim room in the basement only allows me to hit a 41.5β club. So Iβll post my βSim driverβ best. 16* 41.5β Hybrid. I think it still qualifies!Comment

Oddly enough my average launch with my stock Ping G410 Stiff shaft in the club was a touch lower than my average with this new Smoke Yellow. The Smoke Yellow is supposed to be low launch low spin. Its def lower spinning, but higher launching.
But hey it got me over 300 and I couldnt do that with the original shaft, so Ill take it.
