Has anyone noticed issues with Skytrak not registering every shot with E6 while playing 18 holes? Out a full round I probably have 5-10 shots not registering. Example I had a PW not register, but then 3 shots later my 3W didn't pick up. I know it sounds picky that 5-10 shots don't get picked up. Just checking if others are experiencing the same thing.

Yeah, it's something to do with the software, like a bug or something. Here's a tip. If you get it not registering or even sometimes it will show all green lights but no red laser dot. Then just click on the E6 and open the menu. Then close the menu. That should make the software go back to Ready Status. That always works for me.
How's putting with you in E6. Putting is terrible for me. Hoping its the E6 software with the bug.Comment

So I downloaded E6 onto my laptop. Am I now supposed to make a direct connection between the Laptop and the SkyTrak? I took laptop out to hitting area and started the SkyTrak and they don't see each other wirelessly? Is this a hardwired Sim only? Also, nowhere do I see any option in the software regarding choosing a sim system?Comment

You need to connect your Skytrak via USB when connecting to E6. Maybe works on Wifi too, but I prefer the USB connection. When you install E6, in the setup/install you will select Skytrak as the device. After that you should be good to go. Setup for me was quick and easy. Only tip with E6. Sometimes if the Skytrak gets stuck and doesn't read, just click on the E6 menu and then close the menu. That makes the software and Skytrak reconnect. Putting in E6 is terrible though. The E6 software doesn't have the latest Putting Enabled from Skytrak. Lots of putts may push right 4 to 10 inches. Just set the gimmie putt distance to 8 or 10 feet.Comment

Nothing. I have uninstalled/reinstalled twice. I have never been prompted to select a simulation partner. Plugged SkyTrak unit into computer.....same message when opening E6.......no TruTrack found.........what am I missing?Comment

I downloaded today and played without issue. Note that it's during the actual install of the software where you must select skytrak.Comment

This video is consistent with my experience with the E6 demo, which I really enjoy overall. The range is great, and the course is fun to play once you accept taking putting out of the equation (I have the hole automatically end once I'm on the green). On occasional, as happened to the tester in the video, E6/Skytrak will fail to register a shot, but it's not really a big deal to me. In my opinion, this is a great sim option to have while others are in development. The $99/year GIP package is NOT required to play this demo with Skytrak.

Yeah, the golf ball bounces back way to hard. One thing I noticed is his putts pushed right. So again, putting not very good! Since this wasn't the demo with 1 course and looked like the full version, I would have concern that they haven't got putting working right still. I know Seth said WGT is the only sim software that has the putting enabled, but would think the E6 full version would have that also if they are getting ready for full release. I wouldn't be happy paying top dollar for this if putting continues always pushing right. Again this is something I hope they are looking into fixing.Comment

I'm not commenting on putting anymore until the FULL version is released. We are all still only using a DEMO product and not a full release version. So until a full release version is out, then yes, the putting is off.
I gave up on WGT after I played my first full round, not only is it NOT multi-player, but the angles and distances are just to off for me. I've enjoyed a few rounds on E6 and I'm good with the range here and playing the 1 course until Perfect Golf and TGC is released.
