Used Skytrak - what should I consider?

I have someone local who is willing to sell me their 2017 used skytrak, fmj, screen, projector and strip of turf for a very reasonable price.
The Skytrak is cracked at the bottom from over-tightening the screws from the FMJ. But it has been used regularly.
I know I can transfer the membership without too much issue.
Is there anything else that I should be considering? What am I not thinking of? He's willing to let me try it out at his house before completing the transaction.
Has anyone ever had Skytrak replace the plastic cover? Does it really matter?

I'd check both laser curtains (by hitting left and right). Also make sure the battery can hold a charge. And I think it should be possible to see total number of shots. Don't really know if this makes a difference, but good to know if it is 5,000 or 100,000.

Where do you see the number of shots? For testing the laser curtain, are you saying put the ball on the dot and then hit right and then hit left to see if the shot is picked up?
