I play golf every Sunday morning with a group of friends, we are dew sweepers. I am curious as to if anyone has actually used their ST while playing a real round of golf? I am thinking about bringing my ST out on the course and loading the driving range when we hit shots. Probably just set it up for tee shots. Has anyone tried this yet and if so how did it work?
Using SkyTrak on a real golf course

Never done it but there's 3 variables that may not yield the best results.
Skytrak doesn't love direct sunlight (could maybe use a golf bag or something to shield it).
It reads best when level, which may be harder to do when sitting on grass (would probably have to adjust the screws each time as we know how uneven tee boxes can be).
Grass and dirt flying up from a divot can disrupt the reads (may not be an issue with driver of course).
Wouldn't hurt to try, but I'd probably temper my expectations.

3on3putt Thanks for your feedback and I agree with all of your points. Even if I only do it on the first tee, which is a par 5, it will be worth it. The light or lack there of in the AM will be the biggest problem.
