Golf Ball Question for Skytrak....Please Help!!!

Hi everyone, new member here. I appreciate you helping me out... I have a skytrak on the way to complete my Sim setup upstairs in my loft. I built it for my daughter, shes an 11 year old junior golfer.

my question- she uses the new red callaway supersoft balls in her practice rounds and in her tournaments. Will these work with the skytrak or do you need to use white golf balls? What balls have you had success with while using the skytrak and which ones did not work well? Really appreciate the help here. Have a great day!

In general most people try to avoid coloured (not in USA so I spell it this way!!!) balls can lead to missed reads/misreads. For most consistent transfer of "data" from sim to course best advice would be use the "same" supersoft white ball in the sim... However I've used chromesoft/TP5/ProV's etc they all work pretty good, best wearing for me were the ProV but not a huge difference...

Welcome, Firetruck11 - I am new here as well. I agree with Rebel_G. I have a SkyTrak Swing Bay setup with TGC2019 and found that white balls (practice or real) work the best. Colored balls lend themselves to misread or at times, no reads! Specifically, no particular brand or type of ball have I found to work better than the others (have used Callaway, Nike, Taylormade, Srixon, etc.) and really have not found any major differences one way or the other. I have noticed though that Hybrids have (at least for me) a higher degree of misreads than Woods and Irons. Have not figured out why yet but will continue to test (read "play"!!!).

Thanks guys we will use white balls. Do tou know if E6 Connect works well with the Skytrak? I wanted to use TGC2019, but do not have a computer that will support the software but heard E6 Connect works for an ipad Pro 12.9. Any success with E6? Thanks for the help-

The Truvis work fine for most people. Not sure about the fully red one. My guess is that there will be issues. Just get similar ball in white, problem solved. The Truesoft cracks very quickly, at least for adult ball speeds.

I have never used E6 connect, but yes it definitely gets the job done on ipad. Without gaming computer, it is the best you can do. For game improvement, Skytrak range is quite good. However, nothing beats the TGC2019 course availability. Especially if the courses you play are already created.
