Skytrak Sudden No Reads Most of the TIme

Hello everyone. Had a Skytrak roughly two months now. No issue at all. Reads shots 99 percent of the time with no issue. Suddenly today it took 6 shots to get it to read something and I would say 75 percent of my shots are not read. Absolutely nothing in my environment has changed. I am in a permanent garage setup. Lighting is fine and no outside light at all. The room is identical to yesterday. I played yesterday and fine and I went out less than 14 hours later and its a disaster. Any idea?

Change it to LH assuming you are RH and set it between you and the ball and swing over the top, if it reads shots fine you probably have a bad laser curtain that would need to be replaced

I have to clean the my SkyTrak regularly as dust from my mat covers the front of it when hitting shots. I find that I can have multiple missed shots and cleaning it solves the problem for me.

So quick update. I connected in direct mode and still no luck at all. I reconnected back to network mode and then it was fine and read 35 balls in a row before I stopped. Still don't really know why direct mode wasnt working either. Maybe something to do with my iPad? I hate that this even happened

I am having this problem. I just got my skytrak today and I probably hit 100-120 balls and I think I read about 60 of them. Seems as if the ball has to be in an exact spot per club. I have read about that some but I don't know if my situation is different because I would put the ball in what I felt like what the exact same spot and it would read about half the time or read 3 or 4 in a row and then miss 2. ?? I am hitting prov1 balls brand new with 3 dots around the logo and logo pointed at the skytrak. Its hard for me to tell if something is wrong or I just need to be particularly exact with ball placement. I am in direct mode connected straight to the laptop. Anybody got solutions?

The most common cause is the SkyTrak sitting too high. The bottom of the SkyTrak should be the same height as the top of your mat. If you have a metal case and have the SkyTrak on your mat, take the feet out of the case so it sits flat on the mat.

UPDATE on this for me. I watched a few videos and one stood out to me because of the setup they had. I was using the USB connection straight to my laptop because I had not set up the network connection yet. I then had an additional larger monitor plugged in to my laptop to view my shots. For some reason, having that monitor hooked up in combination with the straight USB connection was causing it not to read. The video I watched was exactly the same...then he unhooked the monitor and it read every shot. So I did unhook mine and just like that it read every shot.
