E6 vs TGC19 - Monitor Only

Started this golf sim journey months ago with a DIY setup and OptiShot2 which ended up being disappointing IMO. Scrapped the whole thing.....but now I am back with a SkyTrak.

I haven't committed to a full immersive projector or screen yet, but enjoying my cage setup with a tv monitor and the SkyTrak so far.

My questions are:

1. Is the sim enjoyable when doing monitor only? Is it worth it?
2. Knowing that it would be monitor only, is there one that would be better to go with? E6 or TGC19?

I personally find it fine to do monitor only. I don't really need to be hitting into a picture ( I hit into a net and have a mounted TV screen in front of me to look at after). Based on the delay of the SkTrak it works out, as I won't really miss the shot. I personally like the graphics of TGC19 but it's really just personal preference.

Everything is relative in this world. If projectors didn't exist, sim golfers would drool over the chance play on monitor. I have hit to a monitor, but now to projected screen. Comparing the experiences, it is a bit like going to a movie with great or the worst seats. Once you start to get into the movie you forget about the seats. Of course, it is more immersive to hit into a screen, but sim golf to monitor is still sim golf.

As far as E6 vs. TGC, personal preference, everyone says E6 is more realistic but I don't really see that, the ball flight seems cartoonish to me, idk maybe I dont have a setting right or something but TGC visuals and ball flight seem better. E6 does have a demo free to download that you can try, it gives you 1 course to play, TGC doesn't have a demo but you can check it out on youtube. Most Polls conducted find TGC2019 to be the favorite, the online tournaments are great and you can play thousands of courses around the world or even design your own.
