Can I setup / use TGC 2019 for Skytrak without a working USB port ?

Hi !

I have a Skytrak device where the USB port is broken (I have an external power supply for now) but I read that you have to connect Skytrak to computer via USB to install TGC 2019 with Skytrak integration ?

Is this really needed ? I have my Skytrak working on my wifi in Network mode and can connect with Skytrak software from my PC just fine.

Also I installed tgcsetup.exe but can't find any options to install Skytrak components or anywhere to connect to skytrak.

No, you don't need USB for TGC2019. Network mode works just fine, as does direct mode (if you have wired PC).

When you say tgcsetup.exe, you mean the Protee version for $895, correct. There are a few steps. You need to get a code etc from Protee. I just followed steps, and ran mine. Once installed, you need to run the Skytrak TGC interface. It should be on your desktop. Run that, and connect skytrak from the interface, and then the TGC2019 console should launch automatically.
