SkyTrak PC & Android software

Hi guys,

Just wondering if anyone has heard anything about a release coming out for Android or PC (Not a apple user). Last I saw, Skytrak has stated the were not quite yet ready for announce anything yet. But that was back in February. Any new info available since?

A few topics down, Bubba mentioned he is testing a driving range app for the PC. So it sounds like it's in the works, my guess is within a few months.

Perfect. I bought early to take advantage of the preorder discount but I haven't been able to use it much since I don't own a Ipad.

Placed my order today, don't wanna have to buy an ipad if I can avoid it... if PC or Android is only say a month away. Any longer than that and I'll buy the ipad.. Any idea when it might be released - should I buy an ipad?

I'm curious as well. I have purchased the computer, need to build it, don't have an I pad and won't buy one. My wife has one and can borrow hers hehe. ST will be at my house before I get home, got two more weeks of work then 3 weeks off to practice.

In the game improvement thread seth has mentioned that this will now be late summer not the few months stated previously in here. Who knows if pc comes before android. I really hate apple products and im loathed to buy one. I havent hit a ball yet and thinking of listing it on ebay.

My unit will be arriving tomorrow, and I'm anxious to give it a test.. I don't a single apple product currently. Any updates on how long we'll have to wait before PC (or even Android) support?

I bought an iPad from Walmart and i have 15 days before I need to return it. Both companies are worth billions so I don't feel bad.

give it a chance you have 30 days from SkyTrk anyway if you aren't happy with it.

Yup. Just moved and have my indoor range all setup. Literally just waiting for the android or PC options so I can start using my skytrak.

Any update on PC integration? When they come out with that they will have sold another ST and like PicoTTS I just finished my garage setup (currently using optishot)

Still no update on Android, or PC for that matter.
So i'm forced to buy an iPad, the mini2 is the cheapest but how well does it perform? Has anyone compared the delay between a mini2 and an Air2 ?
Also I will want to hook up to a projector can the mini2 handle that well enough? Buy a cable or via airplay-> PC ?

I have my PC connected to big screen and in meantime use Airplay to the PC. I picked up a fairly inexpensive Airplay client for the PC called Reflector 2 by AirSquirrel (I think), which works just fine. HTH.

I bought a mini 2 and it works fine. From what I understand, the delay should be the same between that and any other ipad.

I haven't bothered connecting it to my projector. I plan to move everything over to PC as soon as it's available.
