I've tried various lightings, no white shafts, regular pro-v golf balls. I've tried various heights as well.
The bottom of SkyTrak should be level with mat? I've set it on mat and the leveled with legs which raises the height. Bad?
I gave up with the Golf Club yesterday after getting wore out hitting 10-20 drives before having one register. The delay seemed extremely long as well, longer than I remember after not playing it in about a year.
After quitting The Golf Club went back to just the driving range on SkyTrak app both on my laptop as well on Ipad and "no reads" were the same.
Thanks for all the help guys!!!! This place is the best! Took a break from golf for awhile and now want to play again but this SkyTrak thing is infuriating. So frustrating that I'm thinking on canning the SkyTrak and going to the Foresight.
Yes, that is it. Most common mistake is leaving feet on and placing on mat. Put feet in upside down. The second most common issue is using USB during dry season, so static leads to no reads.
The people above may be right. It might be a leveling issue. But allow me to throw a curve ball. Just to show you that it could be a number of things and it depends on your set up. I had trouble with my SkyTrak last winter after I received it. I would get no read after no read. I was on the phone with support for a while and I scoured the forum posts for solutions. My simulator is in a structure in my backyard. I had a room full of turf in my simulator. I was told that the FMJ might be causing interference with the USB cord. I was also told that the static electricity might be causing interference with the USB connection. So my solution last winter was to just use the network connection and a humidifier. This winter the problem has begun to start up again. This time I decided to try removing the FMJ and low and behold that solved the whole problem. I played two rounds without it on the SkyTrak today and I think I had one no read. I’m a little worried not having the case on it. We will see if I can come up with another solution.
Yes, it can be a number of things, but users can go crazy chasing them all. Best to do as I suggested and put it in direct mode on Skytrak range and hit 7 iron. If that doesn't work, most likely a serious issue with the unit. And if it works, now you can add variables until it stops working, and you will find the culprit.
