Skytrak plugged in 100%of the time ?

Hey guys, is it ok or safe for the battery to leaverhe usb plugged into the wall 100% percent of the time all the time ?

mine is connected via USB to my laptop 90% of the time - and presumably always charging. not sure what kind of rechargeable battery is in the device but maybe allow it to discharge every now and then to prevent memory effect on charging.

I would really like to know if it's safe what I'm doing ? Does anyone know 100% about the skytracks battery ? Has anyone been plugged in since day one and has had it for many years?

I know trickle charge is a real thing with 99% of all Li ion batteries, so I doubt it’s really great for it. Is unplugging it occasionally really that cumbersome? Not being a jerk here, just wondering why it’s a huge issue to begin with.

I leave mine plugged in all the time. I've had it since the first year they came out. No issues for me, but I have no idea what the battery life is now unplugged.

If you're not planning on using it unplugged, I don't see why the battery life would matter.
