Hi Seth. I'm new to this forum but have been reading as much as I can about SkyTrak on this and other forums. It seems that many experienced sim users think that The Golf Club game is the best simulator software out there right now. In fact, if I'm understanding and remembering things correctly, Bubba22 and Zmax were instrumental (please correct me if I'm wrong) in getting ProTee to integrate their sim hardware (and gc2) with The Golf Club software. So my question to you/SkyTrak is simply this: Has there been any thought to integrating SkyTrak with The Golf Club? And if so, what are the odds that this might happen? And if so, when?

You just contradicted yourself. Is it ready or not? Don't mean to be an arse, just frustrated. I have a membership at a golf course with unlimited range balls, I don't need a indoor driving range which is what I currently have.Originally posted by Bubba22 View PostYes we are still both beta testing. Other than a few minor tweaks TGC is ready to go for Skytrak. It has been ready for a while already. It's up to Skygolf to set the release date.

What do you mean I just contraindicated myself? I told you that we tested TGC for Skytrak and the integration is great. From my point of view its ready to go. When Skygolf decide to release the software is up to them. What security measures etc. they are planning is unknown. I am not Skygolf. Don't take your frustration out on me. Skygolf are the ones that have to decide when the software will be released.Originally posted by longhornlove View PostYou just contradicted yourself. Is it ready or not? I think longhornlove is referring to you saying that you are still beta testing and that the software is ready whereas one would expect a beta test to have finished by the time its ready.
It would be good if someone with the authority and knowledge would simply post to give a date for release. That way people wouldn't get excited and raise their expectations when others hint that the software release in imminent.
Feels like people are being kept in the dark and it's hard to enjoy the stream of images posted in this thread almost daily when they seem like a carrot on a piece of string.
Personally, I'm happy to wait. It would just be nice to know for how long.
Since I started playing TGC on the PC the other day I am super excited about it coming out.

"Other than a few minor tweaks TGC is ready to go for Skytrak = It has been ready for a while already"= Contradiction.............................Not taking out frustration on you, asking a question about the contradiction and expressing frustration with ST in the same post. Without you I wouldn't know half of what is going on and I appreciate that. Probaby could have worded it better, sorry.Originally posted by Bubba22 View Post

Even their website says they will post something when they know, I have never seen them announce anything, not sure they know anything.Originally posted by HarryG View PostI think longhornlove is referring to you saying that you are still beta testing and that the software is ready whereas one would expect a beta test to have finished by the time its ready.

I think we all need to ask Seth where things are with Skytrak and TGC. The beta test are done and it's ready from my point of view. We are still playing with Skytrak and TGC is probably what I should have said. Only Skytrak knows when they are ready to release it. Let me try again and reach out to Skygolf and see if any decisions have been made.Last edited by Bubba22; 10-04-2015, 01:59 PM.

Are you posting these as courses you expect people with a Skytrak (or other simulators) to play? I'm starting to gather my own list for when I get my simulator setup and see that this course is 7,170 yards. Pretty long for somebody using their own simulator. Not sure if you are just showing these pictures to get the Skytrak guys excited or if I'm not seeing the right version of the course. Currently I'm searching with my PC version of TGC since I don't yet have the simulator version. I think the course will show as the same distance for all the versions.
