Hi Seth. I'm new to this forum but have been reading as much as I can about SkyTrak on this and other forums. It seems that many experienced sim users think that The Golf Club game is the best simulator software out there right now. In fact, if I'm understanding and remembering things correctly, Bubba22 and Zmax were instrumental (please correct me if I'm wrong) in getting ProTee to integrate their sim hardware (and gc2) with The Golf Club software. So my question to you/SkyTrak is simply this: Has there been any thought to integrating SkyTrak with The Golf Club? And if so, what are the odds that this might happen? And if so, when?

Its almost as if they can just keep on subtracting 1000 bucks from their bank account every couple of days or weeks as people slowly jump ship. I know they want to make everything right but the testers of the skytrak TGC seem to think it ready to go. And while Im sure the reason is much more technical or business related then id understand and is probably necessary....the slow bleeding of cash going to other launch monitors and sims would bug the crap out of me if I ran Skytrak, but maybe they don't mind as much.
Sure maybe they are afraid they would lose future customers if we all complain a bit if things didn't work perfectly right away, but we're kinda used to that by now, and on their side at least they would already have our money and not lose out on potential ship jumpers in the meantime while things were worked out. And even when things don't work at first but then do get fixed we are usually quick to say how great it is and give great advertisement once satisfied.
I got the feeling like they know most people want TGC and they are just getting some of the people anxious for any sim at all to first buy WGT, wait a bit, then get the money from e6 (which ive personally enjoyed the demo a ton other then the putting, and has made me strongly consider buying it) and PG, wait some more, and then get the all the money off of TGC from people who were gonna get it no matter what even after they paid for other sims. Why else would TGC come out last as some of the rumors are saying, even though most are waiting for it. I would figure they would be pushing the other sims on the back burner and making sure to get TGC out first if this was the case. But maybe they have deals for other sims companies for them to come out first.......who knows, maybe I'm just wrong about everything I typed here, would be nice to know though wouldn't it haha.

Nope...........guess what, skytrak has ruined our Christmas (LOL - Joke).Originally posted by HarryG View PostSo, they won't issue a release date. Fine. But surely they are able to tell us if it is their intention to release TGC for SkyTrak this year or not. Even if they could tell us that they are aiming for this year but can't guarantee it. Or even if they could tell us, 'Look guys, it won't be this year' then at least we could put it to rest for a while.
So come on SkyTrak and ProTee United, please throw us a bone or put us out our miseries.
In the spirit of Christmas, are we to start getting excited?
Maybe 1st quarter of 2016 if lucky.

Thanks for the comments guys but let's have ProTee United and/or SkyTrak answer the question otherwise this issue dissolves into the background again and again while we talk PC rigs and look at pretty screenshots. It's getting tiresome.

I have this mini keyboard and mouse which I was planning on using but my computer isn't too far away so I just find it easier to walk over and use the regular keyboard. You can tilt the device to move the mouse pointer.

I got this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00RM...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Has a full keyboard on the back as well. Cool stuff

That's nice too. Just glad I didn't spend more money yet since TGC release seems to get further away not closer. Well looks like I might have a computer which is a little overkill for the sim software that will be available this year. If any will be .

I just asked Skytrak on there Facebook page yesterday if TGC is even in the picture for this year or if we should stop hoping. The answer scares me. They said that it is possible that there will be one more sim software this year, no promises !!!!!! ONE MORE !? from what we have been told E6 and PG will be first and then TGC. So maybe E6 or PG ! That's not good .

I've read on this forum either Seth or ProTee saying E6 is going to be next. At that time there was little said about PG. After watching a few PG SkyTrak videos last night, I've decided to go with PG.
I'd really like to see both E6 and PG having their own threads stickied.

What app is this? I have a wireless keyboard and mouse right on the side near where I'm hitting. But would like to know more about this. Maybe would be cool to use my iPad as a big touch screen display with keyboard settings programmed.Originally posted by Sascha1818 View PostMy computer is pretty far away from where I'm hitting and I tried to figure out a way to not have to go there to change aim, club selection, scout..... here is what I came up with. works like a charm !
Explain a little more how this works? What app? Do you just connect to your PC via USB? Then does it allow you to program custom buttons? Thanks!

It's called AIO remote. It's the only one I found which let's you make custom remotes and most important connects via Bluetooth. Most of the others connected via WIFI and since I will be running other stuff through my WIFI it was important to use Bluetooth. The APP is free. You can do custom buttons with a specific action (any button on the keyboard) and give them a name as well. I like the giving name part cause I don't have to remember that Q is scout and y is club down...... I just hit scout or club down hahaha Like I said you can program and button or even a mouse pad . I like it and it's free.

So, I am looking at buying a gaming PC on cyber monday. Two questions....
1) Any reason to go Intel vs AMD?
2) Any reason to go Nvidia vs Radeon? R9 Fury X...etc?
I could save several hundred getting the AMD and then buy the best Nvidia or Radeon available...
What GPU's are you guys having success with TGC? I assume if it runs TGC, it will run any other sim package without issues.

1) No. Go for AMD if this gives you budget to get a better graphics card.
2) We strongly recommend Nvidia. More stable.
GTX970 4GB is a really good card. Runs very well.... or something even better/faster if you can afford it.

Is the GTX970 more than adequate? How many FPS with this card?
I am looking at several options, but it is hard to pass up the HP options on here. The Envy 750 (air cooled 500W) or the Envy Phoenix (liquid cooled 600w) are both really good deals with 30%off (promo: Holiday30).
Will there be any noticeable improvement from the GTX970 to say GTX980TI or are both more than capable?

IMO, the 970 is enough. It runs smooth on any course in high at 1920, detail 3 and trees between 1/3 and 1/2. For my money, the benefits of a $1000 card don't outweigh the cost.My Courses:

Toronto GC (L) mthunt
Burlington G&CC by mthunt
Weston G&CC by mthunt

Is there a link for the HP deals? I did a search and found the said computers but the ones I found did not have the 970 video card? I'm also ready to get a gaming desktop and 30% off seems like a good deal.Originally posted by goodmatt78 View PostIs the GTX970 more than adequate? How many FPS with this card?
