Numbers Correct? Should I return my Skytrak?

Quick Background: I'm trying to take up golf. But I have 2 babies under 2. So going to the course for a few hours isn't happening, but escaping to the garage for 30 minutes is totally doable. I bought 6 different 7 irons on ebay to try out and figure out which set to buy.

Using the skytrak, ball flights and distances look correct to me but the club head speed and backspin do not. I've gone through all the tutorials and indoor golf syndrome to tweak my setup. But the numbers have pretty much stayed the same. I bought the skytrak used, but it does have a 30 day return window. Is there something wrong with the Skytrak, or are these numbers just not real accurate?

Club head speed is not measured ... disregard.

Hitting off mats always reduces spin. More for certain mats. Hit a few off a short tee to see if spin goes up.

Very likely that Skytrak is accurate.

AWESOME! Thank you so much! I was just getting nervous with my return window closing. So far I'm loving it! Next stop, settle on a set of clubs and decide which software to get. I should probably also take a lesson or two...

I have three boys under 4yo and I take them to the course with me. The 2.8yo begs me to go with him on days when we're not planning to golf. In fact, we're going out in a couple hours from now.

Launch monitor in the garage is a godsend, though. You won't regret it.

I have (2) boys under 3. Launch monitor in the garage is the way to go. I had a Skytrak for a few years. I enjoyed it and found it pretty reliable.

That's awesome! I hope this can become an activity they will enjoy when they are a bit older. I can't wait! For now maybe they can think of the skytrak like a video game.
