  • Dropping Connection & getting stuck looking for License Files

    Just tonight, I've experienced a new connection problem that i haven't had before in the many years of using Skytrak or TGC2019 almost daily. My Skytrak will connect fine once for about 5 minutes or so after it's initial power up, it will let me hit a few shots in Skytrak's Skills Assessment, or Range. Then it disconnects into it's (Red Yellow Green) light mode. When i return to the Skytrak's main page it runs thru the full connection setup, until when it says "Checking License Files" then doesn't connect like it usually will right after, it just loops & tries again.

    It also wont connect to the TGC2019 window either, i can get it one time for a a few minutes after a full power off & on on the skytrak unit, (just like its first power up in skytraks software), but then it will drop off after a few shots and wont reconnect. If i check into the Skytrak software after this, it gets caught in the "Checking License Files" loop, i mentioned before & wont connect.

    Wondering if anyone else has experienced this similar issue recently. I use my skytrak almost daily & I was just looking for answers as to what this might be, (My Skytrak Unit, Windows PC bug, or possibly Skytrak or Protee Server)? Any advice would be appreciated.

    I have. Being its winter are you running a dehumidifier or is it really dry. I find my Skytrack unit would go nuts when static electricity was introduced. Just dragging the club along the matt while hitting the ball would cause enough to make the unit drop connection. I would have to do a unplus the unit power it down plug the unit back in power it up. I finally had to put a sheet of rubber under the unit to isolate it from the floor. Every now and again it would still trigger and I knew it was static as for me it only happened on dry windy days.
