TGC 2019 Skytrak 4.3

Have been using tgc 2019 for a long time with no issues until i was forced to download skytrak 4.3. now nothing works. anyone using tgc 2019 with skytrak after the recent update?

Having the same problem. Skytrak wasn’t working today after the update, so I had to uninstall and reinstall, and was forced to download the software upgrade. Skytrak now works fine, but TGC 2019 isn’t working. It will connect to the box, but as soon as I click “Play Game”, it just closes down completely. Anyone know the fix for this?

i was able to get it up and running. i used network mode for years with no issue. i ended up reinstalling the tgc 2019 program fully and connecting in direct mode. i was able to play in this configuration. i do feel like there were more no reads than typical, but was happy to be up and running.

I am having the same issue. I got 4.3 downloaded and installed, signed in successfully, but when I try to launch the SkyTrak TGC Interface, it just crashes. When I try to connect the box, it crashes. Even if I don't try to connect the box, it crashes after about 30 seconds.

Same thing. skytrak updated, now tgc closes when i try to connect in usb or network mode. in fact tgc interface closes if i do nothing after a minute or 2

I went back to my tgc download link deep in my email from when i set up the system. Started the process and had the option to choose only the "interfaces". I chose the "beta interface" to install since it was newer than mine. It worked.

Search for: Tgcsetup.exe on your computer or email...

Dont reload the whole game!!!! Just the interface

This worked for me as well. I found the tgcsetup.exe file in my downloads folder and started the install process. You then check off SkyTrak TGC interface and then install. You do not need to pick the beta interface.

Thank you! I just did this and we are back up and running! Pro Tip: Be sure to open Settings on your current TGC installation and copy the license key before you reinstall. It will get erased when you reinstall the ST TGC Interface. Once the new install is complete, just open Settings again and paste the license key back in the proper field.

Why do we need to choose the Beta Interface version in lieu of the standard Skytrak TGC Interface version? I chose the standard interface and everything seems to be working fine. Are there advantages to choosing the Beta Interface over the standard interface?

When I tried to download the Beta Interface, it failed with a error message "Something went wrong.. Would you like to retry?" And I clicked "Retry" a few times, but it wasn't able to complete the download. By the way, what is the latest version of the 2 Interface software?

I reached out to Skytrak's online support and was told to delete my app and re-installed the newly updated version. It's been working fine since Jan. 2023.
