Specs say: OS: Windows 7, 8.1
Not 7, 8, 1.
And you also have to spend 99$ for Skygolf/Skytrak yearly:
GAME IMPROVEMENT PACKAGE: Must maintain yearly SkyTrak Game Improvement Package ($99/year)
This is how Skytrak is getting it's own share of the money yearly.Last edited by Dropzone73; 03-22-2016, 09:30 AM.

I just don't like that they're making money off of courses that users created by lumping it in with access to online play. Perfect Parallel announced they wouldn't charge extra to access user courses for pc players if I remember how it went down. I have a gc2 so I'm wondering how it will play out for other hardware...still holding out for a buy version...

The specs state Windows 7,8,1 (they must have really retro fitted it to work with Windows 1). But my questions is will PG Skytrak work on Mac OS ?

Not sure on upcoming hardware or software, but it took a long time for someone to come along and seriously challenge GC2. Also, when will the top "real" courses be available? That would be good to know. The $50 isn't unreasonable it just makes it feel like a money grab. I mean seriously, why even have that option. Also, why have a range only option, you already get an improved skytrak range for $99 or maybe you get PG range free with your $99 sim fee. Have a single yearly fee for full software or a one time buy fee and be done with it.

I was hoping for a one-time option, but that doesn't seem like it's in the cards. I guess the yearly option isn't absolutely horrible. I think you have to compare it to the only other real competitor - TGC. What are the odds that some better simulator software (or hardware for that matter) won't be available in 4 years - at the time of the break even point?
I'm looking to grab this as soon as it's available!

I certainly don't think it's unreasonable to be charged $50 for what could be any number of courses. There are already some awesome additions that are well worth every penny.Originally posted by fortysixandtwo View PostSo in a roundabout way they figured out how to charge for user created courses...
