    Skytrak/TGC 2019 Hit-To-Data Display

This will be an extended post due to issues that are a continuing problem. I have a skytrak w/ TGC 2019. I have intermittent issues with data not read/displayed after hitting shots. I've been discussing with Customer Service for a few weeks. I sent Skytrak for repair, and they re-calibrated the Skytrak. When returned to me nothing changed. I place the ball at the same spot all the time. I'll have at least 20 hits then the data won't read for a hit. At times the light disappears on the mat then will display without data being shown. Then I'll hit some balls and light stays on with no data displayed. I have yet to play 18 holes without this occurrence. According to customer service, I have to go to Interface and "Re-connect" then I can continue. It will happen multiple times after I reconnect. This has been very frustrating. Has anyone had this issue and what advice can anybody offer. I'm not confident this can be resolved. As we know these units are not cheap.

Hi je, this is something that I have experience of. If I have anything working in the background like backups, updates or anti malware it's absolute kryptonite for TGC 2019.

So, when you are hitting, does the unit trigger but not display a shot? Is the unit at the same level as the hitting surface? Does this happen with all clubs or only certain ones? If you experience connection drops in the middle of the round, this link will show you the fastest way to reconnect.

Sometimes the Unit triggers but does not display shot. When unit triggers and shot does not display after a few secs, I look at mat and light comes back on. Then at other times, I hit ball and it never triggers (ie light stays on). This will happen multiple times, then I have to reconnect unit. Which is usually a temporary resolution. One of the odd things that is interesting. It seems that when a ball is a flush hit, it seems to not trigger the unit. This happens more than it should. The happens with all clubs. I've reset the unit hoping this may resolve, but no luck. When I received unit back after re-calibrating, there was a download needed for skytrak. Ever since I did that, when I use skytrak and exit, then open TGC 2019. TGC2019 never opens. I have to reboot pc each time. Prior to getting unit re-calibrated, Customer service asked me to look at Task Manager and task bar to check if TGC is open already. TGC 2019 being open was not always true.
For those responding to this post, are you using Micro USB cable or wifi? I've tried both, with no success. If using cable, what length cable is being used. Needless to say, this is not making it enjoyable to use skytrak. I have yet to play 18 holes without an issue with data not reading after a hit and reconnecting unit.

I'm connected through the USB that came with my SkyTrak. I recently moved to a new location, prior to moving I had it connected in wifi mode, I had less misreads in wifi mode, but, I'm going with USB now as I don't know if may have to reset the SkyTrak to remove the old WiFi. What I have noticed in 8 years of using SkyTrak is that thin/low shots never seem to register and sometimes my club head is picked up instead of the ball when I hit a flop shot.
