Guys,

We have just released v2.0 for iOS. I will address game improvement issues from the past in a different thread, so let's keep this conversation about v2.0 and any questions you may have with it. It looks like some of you who were testing the PC release had the Game Improvement Package, but it was not linked to your device. It was an easy enough fix, but I've had the SkyGolf team go ahead and search all users/subscriptions and take care of any remaining similar issues, so it should not be an issue moving forward.

I'm sorry I haven't been able to be on the forum this or last week, but there's been a lot going on behind the scenes. I will just say that this release was timed for the full release of WGT.

V2.0 RELEASE NOTES

- Added subscription/license requirements for Subscription Package features and Simulation partners
- Resolved Data Sync issues
- Added SkyTrak Hardware Battery Indicator
- Added “+/-“ fine-tune adjustments for Closest to Pin distance adjustment
- Added ability to save Session Settings (remains on last used)
- Average distance on the range is now for current club only
- Fixed Side Spin Average bug in Session History
- Added ABOUT screen in Profile – Displays software version, firmware version, and registration information (for now, this will only serve as a register device button)
- Users are automatically upgraded to hardware firmware version 1.35 for future putting functionality
- Various bug fixes/backend/server communications/licensing work

SkyTrak_Seth Can you give any further explanation on this line item? Isn't putting working on WGT now? Putting is definitely working on the E6 demo, although some may debate whether or not it's working correctly.

Yes, it is now working in full WGT. It just so happens that "future" was really only about an hour after I posted You have the option to either putt or auto-putt. Builds prior to this did not have the putting mode enabled, which meant the data probably wasn't right.

Saw the app in the Canadian store, so it's there alright.
I can't see the accelerometer calibration function in the feature list. Is it there or will it come later?
I will upgrade when TGC or PG is released since there is no point in starting the clock on the GI package before.
That is unless I can calibrate the accelerometer now.

Ok still having issues with 2.0 app on itunes and pc beta. Its showing I need to upgrade to premium. On my account online it shows I have the play and improve package. When I use wgt is says upgrade thru skytrak. Any help is appreciated. Here is the showing of my device online if that helps. Thanks

That looks weird...almost like a SkyCaddie package?? Let me follow up with support. In the meantime, make sure you've synced your data and then connect the unit so it can go through it's license check.

I have tried and it says the unit is already registered to the unit logged in. So So weird. It just started working to sync my shots today after owning if for a year lol. I guess I will try to call support again and see what they have to say.

Any update on when this is coming to Canada? WGT shows as coming soon - I've been holding off on the GIP and given the chatter would rather by it with the WGT. I'd hate to auto update the Skytrak app and cripple current functionality while waiting for the combo GIP/WPT to be released.

Did this release fix the 20 yard short drives issues many people were reporting?

Weird, but the drives are more realistic in E6, but appear to be short in Skytrak app and WGT.

One other thing to remember is the CHS is not a measured parameter. It is estimated. So I would not put much faith in the CHS readings your getting. As davray666 indicated I think a lot of alignment issues will be solved with the next update. I have a beta ap that lets me see the alignment and when my level says it's level the ap says not. On the SDK interface for TGC if my box is so far out of level the SDK tells me so when I run it. I think many problems will be solved with the next update. Hang in there guys good things are just around the corner.

What Hoosier is referring to in the post is the accelerometer calibration feature.
E.g. If the unit think it's tilted in either axis while it's not, it will produce bad data.
When the word alignment has been used into the past it has typically been referring to target alignment.

Anyway, the question has been answered and is a, no it will come later.

The driver tuning, as well as fixed club head speeds for more lofted clubs, is coming in v2.1 Already done but did not want to include in v2.0 with so much else changing. Keep in mind though that this was simply an increase by about 4%. So if you drive the ball 230, you aren't going to see an increase of 20 yards.

I'm having an issue that may be similar after upgrading to 2.0.

When I select the Stats or History menu in the Skytrak IOS app, I'm getting an error message that says "UPGRADE REQUIRED You must upgrade to the Premium Package in order to access this area of the software" I ordered the Game Improvement package when I purchased my Skytrak, and haven't had any issues viewing my history in the past. My Skygolf 360 account shows my membership as "Membership: SkyTrak Game Improvement Package 10/9/2016".

Any ideas on how to get this functionality back?

Is that package just in your account or does it say that with the SkyTrak unit itself? I'm guess the two are not linked. SkyGolf chat should be able to link them quickly.

Anyone else disappointed that the History feature is gone in v2 for free members? I was told that, going forward, session history in the app (and on the web) will be available only to $99/yr members.

I get that they want more subscription revenue, but I sorta expect to have access to my own shot history with a $2K device.
