Looks like things have gotten a little tense here as of late, and I can understand why, but let's take a collective deep breath.
First, there's been a lot going on behind the scenes. I've tried to describe previously how complicated this is with as many partners are involved. If this is any indication, if I happen to go missing for an extended period of time (a week or two), then that probably means something big is about to go down. I've stated it in other threads but this forum is not my job, but rather a felt personal responsibility to keep you all informed as loyal customers, and in many cases, early adopters. However, when the nose has to go to the grindstone, my actual job here, managing not only the development, planning, and release of our software but also many partners, has to take precedence.
I'm also not customer support, but I try when I can to help out by either providing direct help, referring to the correct person to help, or even just relaying suggestions on how the process can be improved.
Now that we finally have licensing in place and our first full course play option out in the field, the elephant in the room is most obviously your subscriptions. I will be reaching out today to those of you who PM'd me directly in response to my data syncing thread. For the rest of you, you will receive an email today with an upgrade option for WGT if you plan to do so. This will take into account prorated pricing so if you bought the GIP last week, you aren't paying another $100 for it today. Your GIP and WGT will all start fresh though, so you will have a year on both.
This release of v2.0 + WGT was a humongous effort all around and certainly more complicated than originally thought. But now that it is out there and working, it makes moving forward so much easier with all other sim partners and frees up resources on our end to continue making our app, our ball flight, our communication, and the overall SkyTrak experience that much better.
We have great things in store for the remainder of 2015. Thank you for helping us build a better product.
