  • Feature request: Show us a picture that includes the club head and shaft post-impact

Not sure if this is technically possible, but I think it'd be hugely useful: show us one picture when the ball first crosses the trigger line, that includes the club head and shaft, so that we could see how much shaft lean we have maintained just post-impact.

I've got a SkyPro and a SwingByte 2 that *technically* provide that data, but neither device is reliable in my experience - even when I for sure early release and flip, they both show positive forward shaft lean, so I can't depend on them at all.

If SkyTrak could show that picture, it'd be a big differentiator against the GC2 imo.

I can tell you that the hardware team is adamant about not providing images. It would be cool though.

Fantastic idea! Might this be possible in the future, for the device to measure shaft lean and send to the ST app?

For the shaft lean idea that will not work because the images are cropped and only include the part where the ball is since that is all the host needs to calculate stuff.
In addition for it to be useful you would need a picture of the shaft just before impact and the ST does not take any pictures before impact.
