Rough and Sand mats for WGT play with Skytrak

Par2Pro I know its not the same as on the course, but Im really leaning towards using a rough and sand mat. Do the mats from Par2Pro work with Skytrak? Will it register the shots? Any other ideas on would work for that set up?

If anything like the GC2 is, keep in mind that the mats need to be green and not white. There is a sand mat that is white but there is also a similar in green. To practice they would help with the feel being more true when practicing a rough or bunker shot. The problem with using them with sim software is that most software will add ball penalty in the game. So when you hit from rough in the game you will loose a % of the ball speed when the shot is calculated. If you use a sand or rough mat with that you would have a slower ball to begin with and then a penalty on top of that.

No idea how WTG works but if they add penalty for rough and sand it may not be good to use.

Can you turn off the built in penalty on any of the sim softwares? I'd prefer to use rough mats if possible too

Playing championship courses, I'd like to err on making it more challenging by using tougher lies. Psychologically and to impress people, I think it would be more fun.
