SKYTRAK NEW UNIT DRIVER DISTANCE Still SHORT

I know its a very talked about subject but I played around with it today along with WGT and the longest I can hit with 102-110 MPH Swing Speed is 262 Yards. I really wish they would fix this. I hit a 4 iron on WGT 231 Yards today as well, here is the video. I have uploaded a bunch of different shots and I have had more success chipping from 40 ft than putting that far.

I fail to see the problem here. As long as it is consistently doing the same thing, just play for it. I am far more concerned with overall consistency, and distance accuracy with irons than I am with distance on woods.

As for your iron shot, you hit a low shot on a links course that got a ton of roll - just like a links course can and should deliver. Where exactly is the problem with this?

I'll wait and see what happens as they adjust in ver 2.1.

I hit my drives on the course from 270 plus consistently, My old P3 consistently confirmed that. Why does it have a problem on here with woods is all I am asking. All my irons, chips are accurate.

The farthest I cam hit my diver on WGT is 230yds. My driver on the sky track range is 260-265, which is still low with a 100mph push draw.
I agree the driver distance on WGT is rediculouslt low. The irons seem to be about 5 yards lower but not terrible.

Seems like the skylark is really missing the ball speed. My top is 136 on WGT.

260 to 265 yards total (around 240 or 245 yards carry) is about as far as is theoretically possible with a 100mph swing speed and perfect launch conditions. If that's what you're getting on the Skytrak range, it sounds like you're getting everything you can out of your swing.

I agree, but would say 250-260 carry is the maximum for a 147-150 mph ball. (If you get the spin down and the launch up.)

Would have to be launch at 18* or higher with 2000 and under spin. Not many people can do that.

True. I'm just splitting hairs since the term 'theoretical' was used, and with recent drivers, those launch conditions are more attainable than ever.

My point is what's up with the WGT driver 230? Com on I can hit my 3 hybrid that distance on the sky track range.
WGtT is different why? Do you experience the same?

Are you accounting for wind and elevation in game? That would affect your distance some.

There are a few variables here:

              1) If it's just driver, check the distances again when we release v2.1. We have tweaked our ball flight model for drivers.
              2) Make sure you are validating in the SkyTrak software - WGT uses their own ball flight model. (They are working on this as well)
              3) As someone else noted, WGT also has wind and elevation whereas SkyTrak does not. Probably not the case here but worth reinforcing.
