Remember my hypothetical post about the affordable GC2 software with tons of courses and online play?

I don't mess around. This thing is for real. As soon as we're allowed to give out details, we will.

It's gotta be protee. Both of them are protee ambassadors. Or at the very least its other hardware that uses Protee Online play like the GC2 does. If that's the case please let us know before it goes off its sale price of 1995$.

            Said with authority....

            I guess we will see.

Being so new to the golf sim scene, I have no idea who Martin is.

If this is it I might not be able to use it. I don't have 6 feet on the right side of me. Lets hope we hear more soon. This definitely sounds like what the boys are testing. What's the software for these things? RC?

I was just joking. Martin has been promising this thing for years. Very doubtfull it ever happens.

Absolutely not. Btw, we do have a thread on the LX.

What about those of us that are close to pulling the trigger on a ProTee system? Would you advise holding off?
And I understand you are under a NDA but you said we could have something announced possibly this month. What general or even vague timeframe would you say this would be released to the public for purchase? Summer, Christmas, next year?

Possibly this quarter. If you found a good deal on a Protee system, want to start playing online, or need to start installing soon, then jump on it. The Protee is very accurate and has the best club data in town and of course, you'll have Protee golf 2.0.

LM like this one will not be practicle for both left/right handed game play. Moving it back and forth during a round will not be fun. Also, if you read this thread and the Protee simulator thread carefully, you'll see some hints about the possibilities of this device. Thought we might have something to say this week, but maybe next week.

I know we talk about the possibility of combining a LM like the one you are testing with a floor sensor and cameras. BUT....would a device like this allow you to play without using ANY other devices if you chose to? Everyone in my family is right handed...so no problem :P

Hypothetically, if such a device existed, would it provide club data without the need for a sensor mat? Hypothetically of course. :-)

So this thing won't be ready this month? That sucks. Looks like GC2 with protee software, most likely. I just installed my projector and my screen, I'm antsy to pull the trigger soon!

No, it will not provide club data without a sensor mat.
