Yup, no tweaking. But will have carry and spin adjustments for those that might want to use it with limit flight balls.
Can't wait to hear about this!

I'm hoping the price is between the optishot and protee leaning towards the opti.

Well, this sounds like a great piece of hardware. Can't wait to see and hear more. Maybe this week?

I'd be shocked if it was able to accurately measure ball data and was close to the opti in price. We can hope though!

Let's just say I would be worried if I was working at Foresight...

This is ultimately good news for all golf sim fans but maybe terrible news for Foresight customers?

Sooner or later competition drives prices down. That is good for all of us. Although some of the technology is really good, some of the prices are outrageous.

Maybe I can ask this. Theoretically, would a new LM like device allow you to use, say the pro tee, without having to set up cameras? Just the floor sensor and the LM?

In theory, yes. And don't forget the Protee putting sensor.

While something like this happened to Golftek, I don't see support going away for the GC2.

It would be cool if the software could combine the inputs to get the best reading. That is, look at the club face, the club path, the camera readings, and the LM and compute an average. Knock out any outlier readings, but if no outliers (misreads) then average the readings. Might be overkill but it seems like that would be the ultimate in accuracy.

Will this spin addition be able to function on it's own without the need for the sensor board/cameras?

That would be the best product for them. Especially if it's at a price point that would attract the launch monitor crowd.

This will hopefully be the plan.
