Moving my question from another post here...

Will this device be standalone operable? Meaning, will it need simulation software or will it function as a standalone launch monitor, maybe with simple software on a PC/tablet that shows numbers...etc.?

Also, if it needs to be paired with a simulation software, which one will it come with?

It requires at least a tablet/smart phone, unlike the GC2.

1. If you didn't have your Protee system would you personally have bought what you are testing over the Protee? Or I guess to put it another way, is this going to be your simulator of choice in the future?

Rick vs rick! Gonna get confused. ZMax is right, that is funny. The ST1 Premier is a shadow based sensor system initially designed by the now not in business company Golftek. There has been a desire through CDG to develop a launch cam for it. So, no, not the ST1Premier.

Looks like we are 2 "Rick's" in the exact same situation. I'm done my SIM room, got a PC, projector and it took me 2 months to put it together and now I'm trying to wait to see what this new product.
