Finally got it all working. But the numbers all seem to way off for me. I'm far from a long hitter but my irons all seem to about 15 20 yards short. The unit is level with my turf. Appears all look right but need some suggestions. Very frustrating. I am not 10 feet away but maybe 6 from my screen..any suggestions?

All the ballflight numbers do not show up until after the ball has landed. Has this changed, i thought before they would show up right away while the ball was still in flight.

I finally got my skytak up and running. Everything works except the direct connect that still can't seem to get working. My issue is that the yardage seems to be off 10-15 yards with all my irons. I'm kinda out of practice but even when I flush one it still is showing shorter that what I actually hit. Can't try my woods yet until I can get out in the garage . Everything is level and at the same height as my turf. I'm willing to try some suggestions. Please post if you have any ideas. Thanks

        Jim

Jimsol, it's totally normal for your PC to see a "limited' Connection while connecting directly to your SkyTrak unit. You PC is wanting to find something that will get it access to the internet, which the SkyTrak will not. If you connect directly to the SkyTrak unit and then open the app...nothing happens?

As far as distances, the only distance number change you will see in this release is actually a small gain in driver distance. Are you using new white balls, such as you would play on the course?

Yes brand new balls. Not sure why. Also trying to use the E6 demo with no success . Can't find and instructions how to use it with skytrack. . I'm going to try it again later a d see if I'm seeing the same results. I did try thr 2.0 demo also and saw about the same yardage. In genreal a solid 7 iron hit at a club head speed of 60. What would be the yard age. I know a lot of variables but just in general, might give me a idea my yardage is right.

            Thanks

That is awesome tool. Very interesting to see how the shot chages with different parameters. Thasks.

I just checked on the flightscope calculator. Assuming a 1.35 smash factor for an 81mph ball speed, 6000 rpm backspin and a 24* launch angle, you should be getting right around 100 yards carry.

What are you seeing on ST?

About that. I'm going. Try hitting a few more to what numbers I'm getting. They are probably right. I just suck. Haha..

You kind of need to know your game to determine how far your hitting your clubs.

Not sure because but I either have something set wrong or this skytrak is not accurate. I have been reading about how dead on the yardage is but. I don't see it. It has been at least 10 to 15 yards off where I usually hit irons outside. I have also the skypro and the club head speed , there is a 7 to 10 mph speed differant from skytrak . The tracking seem correct but yardage I'm not seeing it . I hope that it's something I set wrong or can be fixed. I have posted this issue earlier and thought I would give it another run but same numbers showing up. If anyone has any suggestions or adjustments that I can try?. I will need to wait until Monday to talk to a skytak tech, I have tried moving the ball a little moving and leveling it up a title and down as well as even with my turf and dont see much differences. Hope someone has a answer or suggestion. Anything would be welcomed at this point.

                    Thank you all

                    Jim

A lot of us, me included, had the issue of hitting different Inside than we would on the course or range in the beginning. I though as well that it's reading short. I took it to the range and it was Spot on. Carry! You can't really go on total too much. If you change the firmness of the ground roll and total will change. After i noticed that i was shorter swinging inside i gave my swing a closer look and was able to Iron it out. All good now.

Jimsol have you tried hitting off a tee to see if there is any difference?

Have you tried spraying the face of your club with foot powder? Try it and see if bottom .x inches of the club gets wiped clean. you would be amazed how much speed at impact is lost by hitting just before the ball. Skypro doesn't know if you hit the ground or ball first. Monster mats feel soft to hit off of, but also absorb alot of club energy without you knowing it.

Can you post some of your launch conditions? Ball speed, LA, spin

You might be smart to not wait to long and call tech support and get your unit RMA'd. If it's new then tell them you want another new one drop shipped and not your defective unit repaired.

Has anyone noticed the shot to show time to be increased with the new pc version? The E6 demo seems much faster than the skytrak basic range.

I haven't used the range app since E6 came out.........

Also, the PC version is wonky for me, I have to open E6 first, let it find my skytrak, then I can open PC App.

Which is fine until the E6 demo is done.

Is the SkyTrak set for a soft conditions? I notice that distances on carry are somewhat reasonable (short still than the Trajectory Optimizer would show) but total is low.

                        Known Issues

                        - Scoring is still correct, but Challenge leader boards have display logic issue currently being resolved.
Downloaded e6 demo and skytrak 2.1 for windows. Skytrak 2.1 works but how do you get e6 to integrate with skytrak the way gwt does?

Just install the E6 demo and select Skytrak during install process.

Nothing else needs to be done.

No option to 'select skytrak' during install. Just installs it.
